DOHNS Part 2 Revision Guide (Diploma in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery)

This book will provide a framework around which one can base their revision for the DOHNS part 2 exam. It covers all pertinent topics in succinct detail and will help you enhance one's core background knowledge required to pass the exam. In addition to essential theory, the book also covers other relevant aspects such as oral and written communication skills, and instrument identication. The original revision guide was written to accompany the Doctors Academy DOHNS course started in 2009. The course was developed with an aim to provide details of the exam set‐up, improve background knowledge and give candidates the opportunity to hone the skills required to pass the exam. This book has been progressively assembled over the years as the course has gained popularity. Although the book covers most of the syllabus for the DOHNS part 2 exam, due to the wide range of conditions and disorders covered by this speciality, it needs to be acknowledged that covering every topic in depth is beyond the scope of this guide. It is hence suggested that
one uses this book in conjunction with time honoured ENT textbooks.
