Understanding the Book of Daniel - Annotated

Understanding the Book of Daniel is based upon a series of lectures that Dr. H.A. Ironside delivered in the early 20th century. The original title was Lectures on Daniel the Prophet. These lectures were later transcribed for publication.

This is not a scanned copy. It has been re-typed in modern font. When speaking, Dr. Ironside assumed that his audience knew when he was quoting from scripture and where to find the scripture in the bible, therefore, much of what he quoted was not identified in the initial publication or any recreation of the publication since. You will find all scripture references as well as the full verse(s) supplied in Understanding the Book of Daniel. For this reason, you will not need to stop to look up the verse yourself. (All scripture references are from the King James Bible.)

In addition, footnotes have been supplied where there were none. Most of these are included to remind or inform you about the historical events or publications to which Dr. Ironside is referring.

Drawings, charts and timelines that were not included in Lectures on Daniel the Prophet have also been added.

Each chapter in this book corresponds with a chapter in the book of Daniel.
