Granddaddy's Little Girl: Before and Twilight... There was Vlad!

CENTURIES BEFORE EDWARD CULLEN AND TWILIGHT...THERE WAS VLAD THE IMPALER!

(Modern Day) Romanian Prince Vlad The Impaler Dracula is alive and well. Still ruling his kingdom with an iron wrist. He still slaughters his enemies like they were pigs. But now he has developed a soft spot. His daughter Elizabeth has given birth to a daughter - Hecate (named after the Goddess Hecate).

Though her grandfather is a Vampyre, Hecate shows no signs of Vampyrism.

When she is 5, Hecate survives an attack from a pack of wolves while she is in Romania visiting her grandparents.

After the attack, Vlad orders Hecate remains in Romania to be trained by her grandfather in ways of battle. She also learns about the Craft and being independent and self reliant.

After the death of her Grandmother on Hecate’s 14th Birthday, she pleads with Vlad to be allowed to return to New Jersey to go to high school. Vlad agrees on the condition that Hecate returns to Romania every Summer for additional training.

In June 2009, only weeks before Hecate’s 16th Birthday, Romania is attacked by Usama bin Laden’s followers. Vlad immediately engages the al-Qaeda in battle. During the battle, Vlad is blown up by a mortar shell.

Hecate shows bin Laden and the rest of the world she truly is her Granddaddy’s Little Girl. She immediately orders missile strikes on terrorist cell locations. Hecate becomes Usama bin Laden’s worse nightmare come to life!

And like Vlad, has no problems executing criminals and terrorists via Impalement.
