A=432hz: On the Proper Concert Pitch and a New Standardization of Tempo

This eBook is actually a concise article that I, Brendan Bombaci, have written on a revolutionary new set of ideals for Western music. There has long been a heated debate over what the proper concert pitch (standardized tuning) should be, and many opinions abound. That they are for the most part subjective rather than empirical is likely true. The current average standard is A = 440hz. My cogent argument is for what may be the original standard, A = 432hz. Others such as Sauveur, Chladni and Verdi have suggested this value, but I provide horological and fractional data justifying it, and I also elaborate upon a new and relative concept: the standardization of tempos. Rather than free-ranging throughout 60-120bpm and beyond, I suggest that there should be set tempos in like manner as there are set note frequencies in any scale. As such, there will be more than harmony between notes; there will be harmony between notes and rhythm. I provide the mathematical reasons and methods for manifesting this.
