Space Odyssey: The Diary of a Truth Seeker

David Boddy, a London senior school headmaster, chronicles his meetings with Swami Shyam of the International Meditation Institute in Kullu, Valley of Gods, India. Having spent more than 35 years studying the Philosophy of Oneness in the Shankara tradition, but never meeting in person a fully enlightened teacher, he found himself longing to do so. In the Guru tradition, the teacher finds the seeker when the seeker is ready.
These diaries outline his meetings with Swamiji and provide highlights from numerous satsangs or spiritual gatherings. They provide a fascinating insight into the unfolding of the Swami’s unique vision of the spiritual life and how the seeker must ultimately surrender any sense of separation from That being sought. It is a Space Odyssey, journeying beyond both the material and mental worlds.
