Night in a Haunted House

Book 1 of 3 of a teen horror story where Luke convinces his friends to spend a night in a house deep in the forest that used to belong to a dentist who one day slaughtered his entire family.

Rube is fascinated by ghosts, has read about the house and is not happy about it.
Rich, the sceptic, agrees to it but just to prove that ghosts don’t exist.
Tone isn’t sure but would rather go with the flow so that he’s not made fun of at school.

They go to the house and as the day wears on, even some of the bizarre happenings do not put them off staying, even though Luke’s behaviour seems to change as he becomes increasingly attached to one of the rooms.

When he disappears, the search begins but when he reappears, the nightmare begins.
