Trouble At Cougar Pass (Marshal Sam Callapp Series Book 2)

This is book two of the Marshal Sam Callapp series. Sam has become a well respected marshal in the town of Cougar Pass. Sam could best be described as deadly, but good-natured. He was generally very polite, but those who confused politeness for weakness made a bad mistake--the kind that could get them killed. Even though it's a nice little town, Cougar Pass seems to have more than it's share of trouble. Sam is not gun happy, by any means, but there are times when there is just no other reasonable way to handle the matter. This did not bode well for those who thought that it was a good idea to take Sam on. He is married to Jubilee, a beautiful, but very strong woman. Who adds to the excitement, from time to time.
