Note On Inconsistent Results
Test strips are sensitive to temperature. Strips should be stored between 39° F and 86° F, and should not be exposed to heat, direct sunlight, or freezing temperatures. If inconsistent results are received when performing back-to-back testing, this is an indication that your test strips have gone bad due to improper storage conditions.

Control Solution is Not Included
The control solution is available directly from the manufacturer as an optional item, and is not necessary for uric acid testing. The control solution is used to test the meter itself for accuracy if you believe it to be faulty, and is not a necessary part of obtaining accurate blood test results.
