When young female reporter, Helen Bellamy is found murdered and dumped in the Essex countryside with Riley Gavins name on her, Riley is called in to identify her. She immediately recognises the woman as a previous lover of her friend and colleague, ex-Royal Military policeman, Frank Palmer.
