The Whiteheadian Foundation of Process Theology

Alfred North Whitehead co-authored the famous "Principia Mathematica" with Bertrand Russell. But while Russell was becoming famous for his pacifism and atheism, Whitehead went on to create a new metaphysical system that made room for God. For Whitehead, Quantum Theory suggested that the universe is not a shifting collection of physical objects, but more like a series of events and "becomings." In this brief study, Robert Moluf reviews the core concepts of Whitehead's metaphysics and offers a philosophical critique.
