Agile Program Management : How Program Managers Can Influence Agile Success

The techniques behind Agile can provide gains in areas well beyond the delivery of software projects, developing new products or other traditional Agile uses. However, in order to make it work, we need to make important modifications to how program managers (PMMs) operate. The hardest part is not to change the way people work, but to change the way people think, including altering people’s expectations, and how they are measured and compensated. Modifications in not just in how they work, but mostly in how they work together.
