Three pack a day woman, Kathy, decides to quit smoking when she sees actor, Kathleen Heigl on the “David Letterman†smoking an e-cigarette.
Heigl praises the electronic device and claims she’s not smoking but “vaping’.
The e-cigarette is not harmful, Heigl claims; it’s a good smoking alternative because the only thing coming out of the flavored cartridge is water vapor with just a touch of nicotine.
Kathy thinks it's the answer to a smoker’s prayer. She's unhappy and feels that she’s found a way to help her cope with the loss of her husband.
By “Vaping†the e-cigarette, she can inhale without worrying about the health risk of real cigarettes, or her obsessive fear of offending people in public places.
Kathy is about to learn that the e-cigarette may not be the answer to her prayers, but the start of her worst nightmares.
