Dhaka to Dakar:Journey Through Asia - Chapter 6: Turkey

'Dhaka to Dakar' was my backing dream - to travel from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Dakar, Senegal, on the West African coast.
My last country on the Asian continent was Turkey, that straddles both Europe and Asia. I arrived at the gateway to Europe - the magnificent Istanbul, where I visited the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and even joined in some Eurovision celebrations. Istanbul was an amazing city where I had some very interesting experiences.
Then I journeyed south to see Anzac Cove and Gallipoli, and then to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Ephesus.
Turkey was an amazing country, and the important step into Europe as I continued westward. Please join me in my adventure!
