Teach your bird to talk in your own voice.

Here’s a question I’ve been asked a thousand times: Should I use pre-recorded CDs to teach my bird to talk?
Here’s the same answer I always give: NO! Please don’t….unless of course you don’t really want to get to know your bird, or you don’t think your bird needs to get to know you. Recordings of other people repeating lists of words is only OK if you just want a bird that talks into thin air for no reason at all. Alternatively, for a lot less money and effort, you could just get a plastic battery operated bird that comes out with random things when its sensor detects movement nearby.
