THE MISADVENTURES OF LITTLE HENRY (BOOT CAMP DILEMMA Book 1)

This is the story about 17 year old' s journey out of High School and into the Navy.
Vietnam was just heating up and he wanted to go. He expected to go.
First he had to make it through the nightmare of boot camp. I am that boy and this is my story.
The story winds through boot camp and on to ADJ Jet Mechanics school. I ended up not in Vietnam but at Pa x River Naval Air Station. Angry and disillusioned I kept getting myself in troubling situations until one day I heard the Blue Angels were coming to our base.
The day of the airshow I watched in awe as they went through their maneuvers. Impressed beyond words I remember thinking if I can' t go to war then I want to be part of this.
The planes landed and the crowds dwindled. There was a fence guarded by The Shore Patrol standing between me and where I wanted to go.. The pilots were in a huddle debriefing. I sensed a small window of opportunity that was slowly closing. I took off running towards that fence. It was like my body had a mind of its own. Leaping the fence I hit the ground running. The Shore Patrol in hot pursuit. I ran full speed right into that debriefing and bounced off of the Commander of the Blue Angels. The Shore Patrol had me on my first bounce. They were dragging me away. I saluted and yelled “I want to be a Blue Angel sir!” Everything stopped, It was the calm before the storm. In that instant, I thought I was doomed! Two months later I was a Blue Angel.
