Fast Luck

In a land where alligators once dined on Wonderbread, where chickens played pianos and monkeys rode on rockets, Fast Luck once met hard luck.

Five-year old Charles Krebs fancies himself as fast. Though, he’s not as fast as he thinks. He’s lucky and hasn’t a clue as to how lucky. Charles is so lucky, his life could easily be described as the positive pole of a tiny, yet powerful little magnet. All good things seem to roll his way.

Charles is about to have a new experience. A fat dose of hard luck.

Zach Washington and his family are pickers, the traveling fruit and vegetable kind. They live on the other end of the magnet. Their lives are ones of simple survival and a much harder version of luck.

They too are about to experience something new. A rendezvous with a small package of Fast Luck.
