Cooling Off (English Edition)

Patrick Dooley, a junior prosecutor in the Manhattan D.A.’s office, returns home one day to pick up his tux only to find his fiancée and his best friend in flagrante delicto on his queen-size bed. He snaps and murders them both. His first instinct is to turn himself in but, thinking on it, he decides instead to attempt to cover up the murders. In fear of being found out and unable to cope with the stress of maintaining the lie, he panics and goes on the run, embarking on a karmic cross-country journey that takes him from the urban blight of New York to points unknown.
