July Saints from the Roman Breviary

July finds many wonderful saints. We begin with the Feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ followed by the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Saints Cyril and Methodius who brought the Catholic Faith to Russia find their feast in July. And then there is Saint Bonaventure. The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel reports the conversion of the Carmelites on the first Pentecost. A few days later we find Saint Vincent de Paul. Saint Mary Magdalene the penitent is remembered on the 22nd. Saint James the Apostle and Saint Christopher share the 25th. Saint Anne, the mother of the blessed Virgin Mary is remembered the next day. THe month ends with Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
