Mabel: The Vampire's Little Black Book Vol. 4

Will, a lonely vampire, meets an equally lonely older woman, Mabel, while passing through Kansas at the end of the Great Depression. She's a feisty farmer but Will discovers her physically and emotionally weakened heart. He stays to help her while drawing the suspicion of some her neighbors of the small town nearby. This is a bittersweet chapter in Will's story, where he learns to truly help a human being and questions his purpose in life. Will he stay with Mabel or will his worldly ways pull him back to the East coast and the big cities in search of fresh blood?
