Prudence

The road to happiness seems mired with potholes and detours for Prudence Payne. She’s been pushed and pulled in so many directions, she’s lost her way. Just when she thinks she can’t take anymore, a long hidden family secret is revealed and her life is turned upside down. Boxed in on all sides, she doesn’t seem to have any fight left in her. But when James, her boyfriend of eleven years, finally proposes, she thinks things are about to turn around for her. That is, until her lifelong friend, Richard Mayweather, professes his love for her.

Richard Mayweather is a widower who lost his wife to cancer almost a year ago. He’s now a single father raising two young daughters. When a blizzard shuts him in with Prudence, all of the feelings he’s been suppressing for her resurfaces. Unfortunately, there are too many obstacles between him and the love of his life.
