Dialogue with the West

There is a drastic change in the world after 9/11. Now reasonable and sensible people feel an urgent need for an in-depth understanding of the issues. Majority of the intellectuals, social and political scientists are striving for a purposeful dialogue in order to sort out unanimity on most of the issues. On some issues, where the differences are deeper, serious efforts must be made to sort out ways and means to maintain a peaceful atmosphere on the principle of co-existence.

West is unaware about the ideas and views of Muslims regarding different issues and conflicts. Similarly, there are widespread misconceptions among Muslims about West. The situation has further deteriorated through flashing news and baseless headlines in a sensational media. In this book, an effort has been made to discuss one important aspect of the needed dialogue and that is to remove some misconceptions of the Modern World about Islam.
