Morning Raga is a film that revolves around three characters—Swarnalatha, Priyanka and Abhinay—who are brought together by circumstance. Each of them have been ruined by a tragic incident in their past, and now each of them finds succour in a shared love for music. Directed by Mahesh Dattani, this movie starred Shabana Azmi and Perizaad Zorabian. The film premiered at the Cairo Film Festival in 2004, where it won an award for Best Artistic Contribution.
