When teacher Carl Luskan conducts a creative writing course at an institute for troubled boys, he puts himself in the firing line of six dangerous teens.

Each of the students has a reason for being a patient at the Green Institute for Wayward Adolescents. And each has the capacity to kill.

One of the boys wants Luskan dead, and the only clues he has lie in the students' creative writing assignments.

Can he piece it together before the killer strikes?
