Freckles, the Irish Papillon

This is a true story about how the unconditional love of a wee pup connected us to the loved ones we lost...and found his purpose in life...and his Irish roots.

"Freckles, the Irish Papillon" tells the story of how fate, or the grace of God, brought him together with his mommy, a Jewish girl from New York named Mary Marcella Schwartz, and his daddy, an Irishman from Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, named Michael ("Mickey") Gerard O'Neill.

Although Mary and Mickey were from different worlds, their lives intertwined like a Celtic knot. And Freckles was the wee pup that held them together. Nothing, not even death, would untie their bond.

Freckles takes the reader through a journey of birth, life, and death. And, in doing so, reveals how he found his purpose in life...and his Irish roots.
