In their minds, they are simply following orders and pursuing the hedonistic lifestyles they have been taught to value. These so-called “useful idiots†perform the menial chores that keep the gears of society turning, manage our public school systems, fill the rolls of social welfare programs, and do the bulk of the dying when the ideologues cry, “havoc.â€
As individuals they are mostly good people, and may even be your neighbor, a co-worker, or the person seated next to you in church. But collectively, their ignorance and apathy make them dangerous.
