Bridge 101--Beginners Bridge (Be my partner!)

Bridge is a trick-taking, problem-solving, competitive but social game that has been proven to stimulate the anti-aging portions of your brain. In Bridge 101 I cover the basics of Standard American Bridge, including bidding, play of the hand, and defense. I also include commonly-used conventions that beginning players should practice from day one. Read this book and you'll be able to play bridge at home or at a local bridge club. In the books that follow, Bridge 201 and Bridge 301, I add refinements to play of the hand, describe additional conventions and more advanced techniques.
