One of the saddest foreclosures of life would be to become a shell of oneself. The mind is a beautiful thing to behold until it slips away. What good is a body without its crown jewel? Life is hidden behind the eyes of one with Acces Interdit, access denied.
The saddest day of Lydia’s life was when she started noticing changes in her mother’s personality. They were subtle at first but over time her mother’s memory became impaired. Her mother with her beautiful imagination was slowly slipping into forgetfulness. It was as if spider webs, that were once sticky, and the spiders moved away or died, the abandoned webs started to collect airborne lint and dust. Like so many others before her mother, what happened to their mindful spiders that keep the cob webs thoughts active, fruitfully attached and undusted to those webs?
