Description

This 3,800 word illustrated paper is one of the most famous and publicized cases of the FBI. The Unabomber was a suspect in one of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) most intensive investigations up to that time. Before the FBI identified him, they used the acronym "UNABOM" (UNiversity & Airline BOMber) to refer to his case, which resulted in the media naming him the Unabomber.
Kaczynski's activities came to the attention of the FBI in 1978 with the explosion of his first, homemade bomb. From 1978 to 1995, Kaczynski sent, or hand delivered 16 bombs to targets including airlines, and colleges, killing three people and injuring 23.
