Sent to live with a father she didn't know and left to fend for herself against abusive relationships and a lifestyle of drug and alcohol abuse, Svann felt rejected and alone. After multiple stays in mental institutions and jail, she found herself at the feet of her savior. Active in ministry as a worship leader and facilitating a successful prison ministry, no one could know that just under the surface of a religious facade was a broken little girl. When a stay at a rehabilitation facility stirs up her inner-turmoil, Svann finds herself doing the only thing she can think of to ease the pain, cutting. From suicide attempts to hospitals, it seems that her fall from grace will end in disaster. Only after Svann comes to the end of her rope does she encounter the redemptive power of God's grace, where she discovers that truly no one is ever too broken for God.
