First Assignment (Winter House)

“Winter House” told the story of the last mission undertaken by operative Jim Kanning on the behalf of his boss, Billionaire Ted Jennings. In “First Assignment” we are told the story of Kanning’s first ever mission for the man who saved him from prison.

The cold war is over. The Soviet Union has fallen. The world will never be the same especially for two former Soviet agents.

The United States has been working, for nearly two decades, to develop and build an “invisible jet bomber”. Now just before the Stealth aircraft is put in to operation it mysteriously crashes during a training flight in the remote Nevada desert and really does disappear. Two pilots are found dead, but not a result of the crash, and the bomber is gone.

Now the government led by ATF agent Lily Knight rush to retrieve it. Ted Jennings sends his newly recruited operative, Jim Kanning, to find it as well. It will prove to be a deadly race
