Mennonite gal Nanette has been married to Brandon Specht for two years and is pregnant with twins. For their livelihood, the couple breeds and sells horses, a dream come true for the horse-loving tomboy Nanette, but now she has to change her priorities. The babies come first!
Although the members of the Snyder County Quilting Bee are hoping that new mother Nanette will soon return to the group she left as a teen because she hated sewing, Nanette has no desire to do so. But then Nanette faces a heart-rending trial, she questions God’s will for her life, and she re-evaluates the worth of the ladies’ needle-and-thread ministry.
