Long Way Home

In the summer of 2007, a recently graduated college student stares across the Pacific Ocean in Ventura, California. Home is somewhere across the Pacfic in Malaysia. Turning around, he jumps on his bike and starts his journey, having chosen the long way home. All proceeds the author gets from this book goes to charities of the author's choice. The cycling trip raised a grand total of $70,000 and all of it went to nonprofits. With this book, the author hopes to continue to return the great kindness shown to him while he was on the adventure. It will be very little compared to what he received, but every cent will go somewhere to help someone.
