THE STORY OF THE COLEMAN SCOUTS: BEHIND THE LINES HEROES OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA (CSA) IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE (1862-1865).

The story we put forth in this book is a compilation of historical information from a myriad of sources as listed at the end. Although there are a few seemingly larger-than-life events portrayed here, this is a non-fiction book. Additionally, even though there are only two authors listed here, much of the information in this book came directly from several of the Coleman Scouts’ descendants who are listed at the back of this book. Without their gracious and eager assistance, this project would not have been possible.
