Diary of a Superhero Sidekick

The only skill young Max Mowers knew how to do was to be incredibly average. Not particularly smart or athletic, he was just a face in the crowd, a tomato on the recess floor just waiting to be squished. So when the administrators of his new elementary school offered him a chance to become superhero sidekick, it was an opportunity he couldn’t refuse.

But the road to crime-fighting wasn’t easy. Besting four tests just to qualify for the program, he quickly found himself on a school bus on the way to Camp Justice, the legendary training ground for heroes. What lay ahead was a fantastic world of allies and villains, of trials and labors that pushed him to the very edge of his imagination. Was he truly superhero material, worthy of wearing his underwear on the outside? Or was he doomed to go back to his old life of mediocrity?
