A Good Catholic Girl

Kathleen Mazzetti is small for her age, terribly shy, and not the kind of girl who wants to attract anyone’s attention. When she transfers from a large public high school to St. Finnbar’s in the Bronx, the only one who befriends her is Paul Hanlon. Gradually, he learns that she has been the victim of obsessive harassment by an older boy from her Little Italy neighborhood. Neither an order or protection nor the police can keep him away from her. When he escalates from stalking to threatening Kathleen’s life, she and Paul come up with a plan to remove her tormentor once and for all. And that plan brings all three of them together in a deserted subway station.
