Trickster: The Venom of Vipers

Ten-year-old Josef went into a coma after contracting severe case of pneumonia. While in the coma, he encountered a being that was a mirror image of him. This being was also able to change to the form of a giant, and even other creatures or objects. Josef and Trickster (as he called this being) spent some time together in Trickster’s world. The first time was while Josef was in a comatose state and then when he was dreaming. While in Trickster’s world, Josef and Trickster played together and had various adventures. Trickster told Josef that he would come to the waking world when he thought he was needed. Josef did not believe that possible. Yet, it was. As Josef hunted for the lost treasure in the woods surrounding his home city, Marienbad, he encountered a personal danger. When Josef was challenged, Trickster came to his rescue - in his giant’s form.

Later, Josef and his friends, Emil and Ludmila, are hiking to a hidden hot spring, high in the wooded hills above Marienbad. The location was revealed to Josef by Lawrence - his unlikely, ancient friend, who has a reputation of being wizard. Our friends hike to this hidden hot spring and experience an unfortunate, potentially deadly situation, far away from civilisation. Once again, Josef needs help.....
