A Prince of Persia

Delayed by a winter storm, David arrives in Florida to spend New Yearʼs with Jayne and her family. But Jayne and her sisters have left for an overnight boat trip and party in Miami. David awaits Jayneʼs return, spending time on the beach and by the pool with her young nephews, who think Jayne “the beautifulest.” David enjoys the boys but is alarmed by Jayneʼs parents, whose grief for a long-dead daughter fills the air. David makes plans to take Jayne to the Florida Keys. But when the sisters return from Miami, Jayne has made plans of her own that upset David, her parents, and those little boys.
