REQUIRED AIRBORNE TRAINING
GENERAL. This chapter outlines the requirements and conditions for conducting required airborne training within USACAPOC(A). 3-2. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES. A. The USACAPOC(A) G3: 1. Provides staff guidance in the coordination and the development of Programs of Instruction for all required airborne training and refresher training courses. 2. Schedules and provides oversight for the annual Command-wide JM refresher course. B. Unit Commanders:

1. Ensure proper level of qualification and training of every individual participating in your airborne operations.

2. Ensure airborne training is conducted IAW applicable regulations.

3. Ensure subordinate units conduct annual enhanced
sustained airborne training (ESAT). The minimum areas that will be covered each year are:
a. Rigging of parachute and individual equipment (quarterly).
b. Mock Door Procedures (use of the 34ft tower or the "hulk" C130 mock up is preferred). The SARJE brief in appendix E will be covered during this training.
c. Standard prejump training and PLFs (quarterly).
