Kleopantra (The Ant Empires Book 1)

This is a fast paced, fictional short-story about an ant called Kleopantra. It begins with the maple tree colony as they are being threatened by a race of gargantuan ants to the south. The Queen feels she has no choice but to send her top Military Advisor and a fertilized Queen to create a new colony to the East in order to create a barrier to the North. When the two get ambushed and find themselves in a desert, they decide look for a new home. They find one next to a snack-bar on the edge of what they both believed was a desert. 12 years later Kleopantra is born and fulfils a prophecy.
