How does an SAP system get new currencies? There are many ways to keep SAP currencies current. In this reference book, I will provide code showing how to get XML file from xe.com with a VB.NET program; how this uploaded XML can be read with an ABAP program; and how SAP currency data can be updated. The book also shows how to schedule to run both .NET executable and SAP program.
Basically, there are two processes that will be created and scheduled to run one after another - as often as your xe.com payment plan would allow. There is also a function included which shows how to read the existing SAP rates.
