For thousands of years, through hundreds of lifetimes, Liadan has protected Humanity as the Guardian of the East, avatar of the goddess Inana. Part of that job includes protecting the barrier between realms formed when the great races of Earth were separated. Man was given the Earth realm while Fae, Angels, and other—sometimes darker—creatures were given realms of their own.
