Description

Some days really ARE better than others! It’s easy to find out when to act and when to hold back in this comprehensive astrology calendar and reference book.

Janet’s Plan-its has an ocean of information! Dip your toes in, wade up to your knees or dive deep. There’s something for everyone, from the basics to in-depth analysis.

Rather than offering a forecast for each sign of the zodiac, think of this as an “astrological weather report.” When it rains, we all get wet. Janet’s Plan-its examines how the planets affect everyone, regardless of your sign. (Actually, we all have every sign somewhere in our astrological chart, affecting some part of our life.)

If you are new to astrology or don’t have time to learn the subject, you can easily make use of the day ratings (1-5, toughest to easiest), weekly highlights in plain English, and the Best and Worst Days list to find good times for your important activities. Students of the field will appreciate the detailed explanations and many helpful aids to guide readers in applying the information to personal charts. Professional astrologers will delight in the shortcuts for chart analysis and good time selection, as well ingenious reference materials. Even if you already use another astrological calendar, Janet’s Plan-its has great tools that can be a valuable adjunct.

For over thirty years, author Janet Booth has interpreted the planets’ movements for students of astrology, the public and a growing international clientele. She’s taught the subject at all levels. For fourteen years, she’s self-published her Janet’s Plan-its print astrology calendars, continually improving it. This is the first ebook version.

The primary differences between the print version and the ebook version are:
(1) The print version includes an ephemeris for 2014 (reprinted with permission from ACS Publications); the ebook does not include this.
(2) The print version shows an image of what the Moon looks like each day (how much of the Sun’s light it reflects to earth), while the ebook shows an image only on the days of a new, first quarter, full or third quarter moon phase.
(3) Intricate tables, graphs and illustrations are included in the print version but due to display challenges, these are not embedded in the ebook; instead ebook purchasers can access these appendices online via links from the ebook and as much of the information as possible is listed in the ebook.

Janet’s Plan-its features:

weekly highlights in English with separate Astro-Overview and astrological details;

daily messages with recommendations and warnings;

days are rated 1 - 5 (5s are the best);

moon sign changes and Moon Void of Course times in Pacific and Eastern time;

extended footnotes explaining planets’ visits to signs and planetary interconnections;

the year’s best and worst days for various common activities;

retrogrades and new and full moons on a page, for the current year and the next year;

a list of major astrological phenomena sorted by zodiac degree; and

Dietrech Pessin's Moon Family table for the current year showing related lunar phases.

Two articles were written exclusively for Janet’s Plan-its:

(1) health indications for the signs by medical astrologer Diane Cramer and

(2) the eight phases of the moon (with recommended rituals for each) by astrologer and Wicca High Priestess Maria Kay Simms.

Designed for use in North American time zones.
