Organic chemistry is a vibrant and growing scientific discipline that touches a vast number of scientific areas. The study of organic chemistry is much like learning a language where the reactions are the vocabulary and their mechanisms the grammar. The purpose of the present book is to incorporate advances in the area of mechanisms of named reactions and I also strived to capture the latest references up to 2012 whenever possible.
