Earning Valhalla

Sergeant "Wolf" Ostlund is a member of an elite 23rd century commando unit. He is one half of a futuristic fire team, piloting a lethal armored battle walker: a Titan. But Wolf is also spear-marked, a follower of the ancient Nordic gods, a futuristic Viking. All his life, Wolf has sought to win a place in Valhalla amongst Odin's fallen warriors. Now, when Wolf and his shield brother Khan are sent on a suicide mission against an intractable alien foe, he's going to get the chance to prove himself. Wolf will face death and the afterlife.

But eternity comes at a price.

This tale of futuristic combat and the bond between warriors is a complete work of short fiction, not a novel length work.
