COUNSELLING: IN THE CHURCH AND FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Where there are no counsellors we suffer unnecessary losses, lose battles we should win, destroy valuable relationships, take needless risks, pay more for less, waste our moments and resources, under-utilize our potentials, and in some very unfortunate cases terminate our lives on earth prematurely.
Counselling is both divine and human. One of the names of Christ is “The Counselor” (Isaiah 9:6). It is a selfless job that makes the world a better place for all and helps guide willing and ready fellow to the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
In the western world, it is becoming one of the most highly paid jobs because of its value. Kings and Kingdoms, monarchs and empires rise and fall depending on their counsellors. Personal and team ministries, and even marriages last or fail based on the type of counsel received.
