Dog Tales: Three Short Stories about dogs and their owners in rural Australia

Rough the Dog who didn't have a home, is about an abandoned stray who must strive to survive avoiding numerous pitfalls before he can find a home where he belongs. Best of Friends tells the story of an aging grazier and his relationship with a young pup, who together seek to understand the conflicts of family and the dilemmas that come with aging. Party Animal follows the antics of two brothers Jake, Spider and the family dog Bob as they negotiate the comedy of our early years. Each story is set within a particular country setting and community. The stories explore the melodrama, tragedy and comedy of life. Ultimately life affirming and triumphant, and all the more so because life's journey is shared with a dog.
