Moonshine

Tristan of Calandra's first quest wasn't to find a magic sword, rescue a princess, or defeat the Lord of Winter. He just wanted to replace his master's slaughtered chickens--and hopefully, before Blais returned home and discovered the disaster of badly-set wards, a fox and the henhouse... All Tristan needed to do was locate a swarm of bees willing to follow him to a new home, find his way out of a haunted bog, and return the unicorn that was the escaped shine of the moon, or a lunar eclipse would never end. At least he has help--Thomas, the young cat who followed an inept apprentice back from Dunehollow-by-the-Sea and refuses to be sent home just because a wizard orders it.
