The answer to modern warfare is unveiled at a press conference on the Maryland estate of Edward Chipman, President and CEO of Chipman-Walters Enterprises International. During the presentation a twisted plan of vengeance and political gain triggers the end of days, or World War III. Those who survive the war find themselves in a drastically altered world, one in which Earth’s natural resources no longer exist in great abundance, and the most valuable commodity on the planet is fresh water. The battle has turned from political gain to one of basic survival and no person, place or thing is safe.
