About the Author
I’m not only the author, I’m also a success story!
I quit my job for an overseas modeling opportunity and never worked full-time again. Upon returning to the States, I struggled to make ends meet as a full-time artist. Then, miraculously, I was offered a spin instructor position and life started working better. I had a free gym membership, a great side job, and an evolving entertainment career. Five years later, this formula still works for me and I wouldn’t change it one bit; I’m teaching in more gyms and acting/modeling in more campaigns than ever!

During this time, I also founded Actors InC, an acting ministry that runs free acting workshops in Manhattan, NY. I was exposed, more than ever, to actors seeking advice and it became painfully clear to me that this whole “supporting yourself as an artist” thing was far from figured out. Having figured it out for myself and knowing others who had as well, inspired me to get those stories on paper for all those still wondering.
