The Killing of Billy the Kid

A play by David G Williams. Billy the Kid, the most famous bandit from the Wild West the world has ever known. Yet so little is really known about his suspicious death. There are more questions than answers and here in this fictional setting of an inquest those questions are asked. However, the answers sometimes pose even more questions. Not all is clear in this case, but what is apparent now is that there was more to this than meets the eye. The corruption in New Mexico was endemic as illegal land grabs consumed the territory. Why was the elimination of this unknown saddle tramp given such high priority? All these tantalising questions and more are raised and answered here in this fictitious event.
